I have the good fortune of living a life that allows me to pursue my first love: music.   Two things in particular, brought me to where I am today.   One, hard work for the past few decades, is obvious and self-explanatory.    But I also have to shout out to the amazing teachers I have had: Jerome Lowenthal, Robert McDonald, Byron Janis, Robert Helps: each in their own way pushed me hard, and kept asking me why.   Each of them in their own way, hasbrought me closer to the musical ideal of playing imaginatively, expressively, and with total physical ease.
